Sweet Pea provides a great opportunity for you to sell the clothes, toys and gear that your children have outgrown.  Our reputation is based on the quality of items that we sell in our store.  Therefore, we are selective in what we take on consignment and base this on what we know will sell the best.  Please understand if we cannot accept some of your items.  

 

-Bring items in Monday through Friday between 10am and 2pm and we will review them on the spot and send you home with anything we don't choose for consignment.

-Drop off anytime and we will review at a later time and donate what we don't choose for consignment.

TIPS:

• Please bring in 20 items or less per visit, as our storage is limited and we are highly selective.

• For larger items, please show us a photo first.

• We accept children’s sizes 2-10.

• We are happy to review baby sizes 0-24 months in the following brands:

  • Patagonia, LL Bean, Columbia, Boden, Tea Collection, Hanna Andersson, Kickee Pants, Kyte, Pehr, Rylee + Cru, Hatley, Milkbarn and GAP (not factory). 

• Please only bring in what you, yourself would buy.  ALL ITEMS should be in excellent condition, recently washed, free of stains, holes, fraying, tears, visible pet hair or other imperfections.

• We do not accept stuffed animals or dolls, baby gates/safety items, Legos (unless new in package), car seats, cribs, helmets, high chairs or baby swings.

• We do accept high quality wooden toys, books and furniture.  

• We accept items on a seasonal basis:

  • Spring/Summer: January 1st

  • Fall/Winter: July 1st

• Children’s clothing brands that sell well for us include: Mini Boden, Hanna Andersson, Janie + Jack, Tea Collection, Patagonia, Crewcuts, Hatley, Bogs, Uggs, See Kai Run, Livie and Luca, Zutano, Petit Bateau, Keen, Nike, Kit + Lili, Charlie Rocket.

  • We will consider brands such as Carters, Gap, Old Navy and Osh Kosh if they are in like-new condition, absolutely adorable and a high demand type of clothing.

CONSIGNMENT POLICIES:

• Items accepted for resale will be on consignment for 60 days.  After 60 days, any unsold items will become property of Sweet Pea and donated to a local charity.

• Consignor will receive 40% of the selling price.  For items priced over $100, the consignor will receive 50% of the selling price.  

• Sweet Pea will determine pricing and periodic markdowns will occur at the discretion of management.

• If we accept an item and later find that we missed an imperfection, Sweet Pea will donate the item.

• Balances will remain in consignor’s account until a check is requested.  A minimum of $25 must be accrued to receive a check.  Store credit / balances will expire in one year if the account is inactive or if a check has not been requested.  There is no change in valuation between store credit / check.
